"A Queda dos Corpos" was a theatre production made for the "Street Science" Event that to place for the first time in 2007 in Estremoz (Portugal). The "Street Science" Event it's a project of scientific divulgation that crosses Science with Art, giving life to some of the most important events of the technologic and scientific history. This shows retraces for the Séc.XVI and count the experience of Galileu in the study of the descendent movement of the bodies. In a society where the European thought was controlled by two powerful forces the Catholic Church, commanded for the Pope, and the Old Philosophy, dominated by the ideas of the Greek philosopher Aristotle, Vírgina writes letters to her Father (Galileu) hoping that he would not execute this experience by going against the "Universal Truth".
